Cannes Lions group stay worked out

So, I booked a Cannes Lions group stay through Bubbl, and it worked out pretty well. We got a good spot, not too far from the main stuff. The place was decent, nothing fancy, but it had what we needed. It was cool to have other founders around, made networking easier. It felt pretty relaxed, not super corporate or anything. Overall, a solid experience for the price.

Good housing, easy booking

Booked TechCrunch Disrupt housing. Private room was as described. Check-in was simple. No issues. Would use again.

Always a smooth experience

I've used Bubbl for a few events now, and this year's SXSW co-stay housing was just as good as the previous times. The booking process for the shared apartments for conferences was straightforward, as always. Got my confirmation quickly. The place itself was clean and had all the basics I needed. It's nice knowing I can count on them for reliable accommodation when I'm traveling for these big events. They're consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

Art Basel stay was great!

Oh my goodness, my Art Basel Miami accommodation was fantastic! The shared dorms for creators were such a vibe, and I met so many cool people. The location was perfect, super close to everything. Everything was clean and well-organized. I had a really fun time. Definitely shopping again for my next event. I'm already telling my friends about Bubbl!

What's the refund policy like if I book a spot and then my plans change for Art Basel? Is it super strict or can you get your money back?

D Daniel Perez 1 month ago
I think it depends on how close to the event you cancel. You'd have to check their specific policy, but from what I remember, if you cancel early enough, you can get most of it back. It's not like a no-cancellation hotel room usually.

Yeah, they have a refund policy. It's not instant credit or anything, but they do outline it pretty clearly. Definitely check the terms for your specific booking before you commit.

Hey, I'm looking at booking a Bubbl spot for SXSW next year. Is it really worth it over just grabbing an Airbnb or hotel? Like, what's the actual vibe?

A Alex Jackson 1 month ago
Totally different. Airbnb is just a place to crash. Bubbl is like, built-in networking. Met some really cool people at Art Basel last year, way better than being alone in a random apartment.

Yeah, I used it for TechCrunch Disrupt. Felt safer as a solo traveler too, since everyone's kind of vetted and there for the same reasons. Amenities were solid, usually has good wifi and workspaces. Plus, sometimes they do little group activities.

how far in advance do you really need to book for big events like SXSW or Web Summit? Is it like, 6 months out or can you snag something a month before?

M Mark Lopez 3 weeks ago
Oh man, for SXSW, you gotta be on it. I tried to book a couple months out last year and everything was either gone or super expensive. Best to do it way ahead if you want good options and maybe an early bird rate.

Seriously, the earlier the better, especially for the popular events. Like, as soon as you know you're going, check it out. They fill up quick because of the networking aspect.

Heard about Bubbl for the first time. Are these places legit? Or is it like, some random person renting out their couch? Just worried about getting scammed for something like Cannes Lions.

R Richard Flores 1 month ago
Nah, it's legit. They curate the places. Not just random couches. More like shared houses or sometimes even boutique hotel takeovers. They vet guests too, so it's not just anyone off the street.

I used them for Web Summit. The house was clean and everyone was super chill. Felt safe. Definitely not a scam.

anyone know if there are any current promo codes for Bubbl? Trying to save a bit on a founder house booking for Slush Helsinki.

P Paul Brown 1 month ago
Usually, it's referral links or early bird discounts rather than a specific code you punch in. Check if someone you know has a referral, that's often the easiest way to get some money off.

They do sometimes have special codes for certain community partners or creator networks. If you're part of one of those, maybe ask around there? Otherwise, early bird is your best bet, or a group booking if you're going with others.
